Norse Gods, Heros, and Hotties

From top to bottom: Ymir (frost giant) Eisa (Loki's daughter, name means Embers) Einmyra (Loki's daughter, name means Ashes) Tyr (God of War) Beowulf (Norse Hero). Just some sketches for a group project. The idea is to eventually evolve one of these concepts into a finished digital painting complete with weapon designs and an enviroment. I am having fun with these and I may just try to complete all of them to that stage. I also have a couple more Norse Deities that I want to try out. I am shooting for the end of the week (17th) to have one of these that far along.

Inking Practice

Just trying to get used to using a brush and nib again. It has been a while but I have a couple of pieces in mind that I want to do in ink.

Lava Field quick sketch

I watched a tutorial. Got excited about painting a volcano. Set down and this was birthed. Not what I hoped it would be, but I am fairly happy with what I got for the time I spent.

Stalking the gifted hooker...

Not to happy sith this piece overall but at least I learned somethings from it. Originally, this started out as a demon-like creature with a overbite. I wasn't feeling that and I started over. Post the original after I revisit and clean it up.

... I just noticed that I have not posted anything traditional on here. Crazy since that is what most of my work is. This piece is for a gallery show/ maybe a album cover for a band. We shall see.

Agent 451 or "Asher" to you and me...

... The Cold War is over. The race to secure peace by creating weapons of mass destruction has ended in a stalemate. Forgotten is the threat of global nuclear winter.

Or has it evoled?

The technoligies have advanced. The distrust has grown. The War of Storms has begun.

Declassified: you are looking at a 451. Commonly known as an Asher. These agents are products of a DNA splicing program practiced by China in the late 3020's. Little intellegence exists on these creatures since they have not been seen for nearly a decade. They were the anwser to Russia's Furnace Agents.

This is something I did for a Gnomon Workshop forum. I was going for a "you are the ant" type of angle to help invite the viewer in, not sure I really pulled it off.
